Mrs Anna Smith

Anna Smith

Anna is a mother of two with a passion for supporting schools to provide a breadth of wonderful opportunities for children to shine and be happy, confident learners. To maintain solid links with staff, parents and to the communities in which we live and ensure the sustainability of small rural schools.

During my terms of office, I have held various positions within Leeming and Londonderry and Pickhill Governing Body such as Link Governor for Health & Safety, SENCO, English, Maths and PE, Vice Chair and most recently Chair. This has equipped me with a solid understanding of school leadership and management, OFSTED and SIAMS inspections frameworks, school financial and performance data.

Outside of school I am an experienced HR professional with over 20 years working in both public and private sector organisations. I have more recently qualified as a Forest School Leader and love nothing more than being outdoors and toasting a marshmallow!
